You can publish 360 images to Google Street View with using THETA SC2. It’s very very useful and affordable 360 camera for business shooting and virtual tour.

However, Google Street View app is dead. No more free app for GSV. The Help page doesn’t support THETA SC2 and Z1.

No worries. You can see THETA Z1 on Street View Ready list. SC2 is also ok.


Before you start

Make sure your pictures are:

  • At least 7.5MP (4K) with a 2:1 aspect ratio.
  • No more than 75 megabytes in size.

Step 1: Publish your photos

  1. Open the Street View app Street View.
  2. Under "Private," tap Select.
  3. Choose a photo to publish.
  4. If you blurred a photo, choose what to do to your published photo:
    • Add blur: Tap More More and then Apply blurring Apply blur.
    • Clear blur: Tap More More and then Remove blurring Remove blur.
  5. Tap Upload File upload.
  6. Tap Publish. You’ll see your photo under "Profile."
